Anatolia has been belly dancing for over a decade. Her first class was taken in 2000 followed by her first weekly belly dance performance at Session 73 in NYC in 2004. She has taught and performed in NYC and spent time learning Turkish Style belly dance in Turkey. In 2008 Anatolia was first introduced to fire in Goa India by a group of Eastern European fire performers. Since then, she has worked around the world doing fire shows and belly dance productions; including in Egypt.
Her dance style is a blend of traditional and fusion; what she likes to call "Neo-Cabaret" When she mixes fire production it creates a truly unique performance that include; crystal and fire contact balls, poi, snakes, fire sword, fire palm zills, fire crown, fire masks, fire belt, tanora, fire fans, wand, whip, wings, sculptures and fans.
Anatolia is now living in CT, working on a pilot reality show on fire performers and the Arts. She performs from NYC to Boston doing Belly Dance and Fire shows and teaching local classes in the CT area. She is head choreographer and dancers in the first ever fire theatrical band Combust a Groove which incorporates dance, fire, the arts and music. Other members include; Tosh Furimsky, Joe Martins, Zachary Gross, Warren Benbow, David Gross and Ben Pelle.
Anatolia can perform for parties, events, conventions, festivals, and nightclubs.
